Ah... A Cappella.

🗺️ My journey with A Cappella started in 2019. While I was applying to universities, I came across some videos from The Water Boys, Pennchants, and Vanderbilt Melodores.

✏️ While I claimed in my essays I wanted to go to Vanderbilt and Penn for other reasons, the real truth was I only applied to those schools because of good A Cappella.

🎓 When I got my acceptance into the Knowledge Integration program at the University of Waterloo, I will admit one of the reasons why I chose it over the McMaster Arts and Sciences program was because of, you guessed it---good A Cappella.

🕒 So you might not be surprised to know that I've spent all five years of my undergraduate degree singing with the UW A Cappella Club.

🫂 I'm really grateful for the friends I've made in this club---without them, my undergraduate experience wouldn't be the same. A special shoutout goes to Elysia Wang, Aryan Thatte, Zack Yew, Subeka Manokanthan, and the many others who've made going to Waterloo worth it.
